“Sexual Harassment and Sex Trafficking:   Is there a relationship?”

Men, men, men…my fellow men…

If, Harvey Weinstein is partly or completely guilty…

If Bill Cosby is partly or completely guilty…

If Al Franken is partly or completely guilty…

If Roy Moore is partly or completely guilty…

If Roger Ailes is partly or completely guilty…

If every Rap or Hip Hop song written, talking about “bitches and hoes”…

If a media star, talking to a future political candidate about the treatment of women in sexual terms is partly or completely guilty…

If locker room talk ever included references to sexual conquests or girls/women and sex…

I think you know where I am going with this lead in.

If all these men, and as you know, there are many more who are partly or completely guilty of the various sex related charges against them, what message are we getting about the state of things in the relationship of men with women?

Is it possible that we men, all of us, bear some responsibility for the current state of rampant charges, even though yet to be proven, of sexual misconduct, crime and harassment?

Let’s carry the question even further.

The industry of Child Sex Trafficking, a multibillion dollar illicit child exploitation monster, is operating almost unchallenged, not only here in America, but around the globe.  This, despite the best efforts of programs like our own Hidden Tears Project and the many others, to include governmental agencies.  It is clear, the reach of this problem is tremendous, hidden, seemingly protected by our very own legal system, and largely unspoken in polite society.

And, before getting too far into the weeds, yes, there is a female element to the human/sex trafficking problem.  But we men need to be clear about this, arrest records and other demonstrable evidence suggests that we are the primary source, client, and benefactor of the national and global human and sex trafficking world.

Men, we are the sex trafficking world, along with the victim children we abuse.

And so, back to the question of “Is there a relationship between Sexual Harassment and Sex Trafficking?

Well, how about if you answer that question.  Let’s make this a topic of discussion!  What do you think, men?

Ladies, I know you have valuable thoughts on this.  But let us get the men talking up front, and then open the discussion to the wider audience.

And I will open the discussion with this…Yes, I too have engaged in the “locker room” talk with other men in my youth.  Not to put this off to “youth” but in fact, I do, today, avoid such talk.  Why, because I have grown up, I am a married man, I have a 22-year-old daughter…who I fearfully add, is in the movie/T.V. industry.  Motivation for better thinking!

“I AM THAT!

Wanna talk “Backpage?”  Leaders that we, in our use and abuse, have made million, no billionaires.

Guys, what are your thoughts?
